-Physical Description: Horace wears his jet black hair long, and is usually unshaven. Despite his travels Horace's face retains a boyish look of inquiry. The effect is somewhat marred by a hideous burn wound on his left cheek. He has dull gray eyes.
He is slightly above average height and usually has his head thingyed to the side giving him a perpetually inquisitive air. He wears a light-weight suit of chainmail armor covered in leather plates. at his side hangs Thoth, a scimitar he purchased in a previous trip to Trans-Sibra. He also carries a crossbow of his own design.
-Personality: Horace is inquisitive to a self-detrimental level. He can be curteous and sociable, but always to aquire more knowledge.
-Description of abilities and/or skills: Horace has amassed an encyclopediac knowledge of many things, his focus now being on the whole of Trans-Sibra. He is capable in combat with his scimitar and crossbow and dabbles in field tactics. He has no apptitude or interest in magic.
-Back Story (Include Country of Origin): Horace really is a man of no consequence. Born to a minor member of the Diam nobility and a servant, he was never desired. Kept out of the public eye, Horace became introverted. He was studious in both academics and martial pursuits.
However, at the cusp of adulthood, while attending a magic show (a rare oppertunity for Horace), a spell went awry and put Horace in a coma for several weeks. This incident left him with his destinctive burn. When he came out he sought to travel. More than happy to get rid of him, his father gave him a modest sum and sent him away.
For five years Horace wandered the Diamlands taking whatever work he could find. He became skilled in many trades and honed his combat capabilities. At this point he made his first voyage. He travelled to Delphi in the Zollverien. He was instantly fascinated with foriegn lands. For ten years Horace sailed on a Zollverien merchant vessel. Abruptly he left and wandered the Cathalis peninsula in Trans-Sibra. Today he makes his residence in Zarlane as a basket-weaver, but plans to mount an expedition to Pyrlon to look for relics.
